The hope is that congress will pass the stimulus package this week that will approve additional funding for the rest of the year – not sure what will happen if it doesn’t get passed.

The house passed 57-41 the breakdown is 50 democrats and only 7 republicans.

Republicans fear that funding may not remain and we may be going outside of budget for the state in the future. If the federal bill passes it only expands this coverage for 2 years.

Some say this is the right step towards nationalized health care.

There also may be a problem with these new children being insured to find a doctor that will see them.
